The online lecture series «La petite histoire de France» starts on February 12 at 17:00. This is an updated version of the course that took place in 2022 and aroused great interest among the listeners. The course is repeated upon their requests.

The lectures reveal how key events of French history and culture are related to legends, cultural patterns and symbols, how they are transformed in the national memory, and what the French remember about the history of their country after studying it at school.

The lecturer is Michele Debrenne, Doctor of Philology, Professor, Associate Professor at the Romano-Germanic Philology Section at the Institute for the Humanities, Novosibirsk State University.

The series, made up of 12 lectures, is organized by the International Resource Center of the TSU Research Library with the support of the TSU International Division.

The lectures will be held online on Wednesdays from 17:00 to 18:00 until 30 April.
