Reading Room 4 is a subdivision of the Service Department and its book stock numbers around 50,000 items available in open access. National and foreign editions on Journalism, Art, History, Cultural Studies, Pedagogy, Education, Religion, Sociology, Philology, Philosophy, Aesthetics, Ethics, fiction, reference books, encyclopedias and dictionaries are all listed in the electronic catalogue.

Librarians help users in searching for information, provide consultations and answer users’ inquiries.

There are 11 workstations with access to the E-catalog, research and academic electronic resources and an electronic reading hall with digital collections of the Presidential Library n.a. B.N. Yeltsin.
