Diese Ausgabe weist auf einige Sommerschulen hin, die mit Beteiligung der Freien Universität Berlin durchgeführt werden. Sie sind, wie auch ein Masterstudium, eine gute Möglichkeit, Kontakt mit einem potentiellen wissenschaftlichen Betreuer für ein Promotion aufzunehmen. Um Promotionsmöglichkeiten an der Freien Universität geht es auch im zweiten fu:бинар.

Летняя школа немецкого права в Германии

Срок: "First come, first served", Визбаден, Франкфурт, Карлсруэ, Берлин, Потсдам, Киль, Любек и Гамбург

Российско-Германский юридический институт совместно с фирмой LEX Legal Exchange, Институтом права стран Восточной Европы Кильского Университета, Freie Universität Berlin, Университетом RheinMain и Институтом Восточного Права проводит c 20-го июля по 1-ое августа 2015 года шестую летнюю школу немецкого предпринимательского права на русском языке.

Курс рассчитан на молодых юристов, заинтересованных в сравнительном правоведении. В рамках курса будут представлены основные институты и тенденции развития немецкого права. Программа построена таким образом, что участникам будут представлены сходства и различия правовых систем постсоветского права. Помимо теоретических лекций, в рамках курса будут проведены практические занятия, на которых участники будут иметь возможность применить приобретенные знания.

German-French Research Summer Schools in Myology

Deadline: "First come, first served", Versailles, Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines; Paris

German-French Summer Schools are held each year and are intended for PhD candidates, medical students, postdocs and clinicians. Participants should be familiar with the relevant cardiovascular and muscular disorders and diseases. Hands-on workshops, seminars and informal discussions with world-leading scientists and clinicians will help understand advanced gene therapy tools, the complex methodology to investigate pathogenic mechanisms inside cardiovascular and muscle cells and the sophisticated techniques to generate new disease models.

Basic Muscle Science, June 15-19 2015: During the summer school there will be organized lectures, workshops, and student short talks. The lectures will focus on aspects of gene therapy and biomedical developments in the treatment of muscle diseases. Here, translational research becomes increasingly important and offers many and varied career opportunities for young researchers.

Clinical Myology, June 22-30 2015: The Paris Summer School of Myology, organized by the Institute of Myology, Paris, is an academic center for getting trained in clinical myology. Most aspects of Myology are addressed during the course: from basic science to cutting-edge therapies, clinical and genetic approaches of muscle diseases are taught. This is achieved by a series of lectures and interactive workshops in English.

12th Call for Proposals - German-Russian Interdisciplinary Science Center

Deadline: April 30 2015, Germany or Russia

The German-Russian Interdisciplinary Science Center (G-RISC), a Center of Excellence, was established in 2010. The main offices, based at Freie Universität Berlin and St. Petersburg State University, have opened the 12th call for proposals in physics, geophysics, physical chemistry, and mathematics. Projects for the period from July 1 to December 31 2015 are subject of funding: Mobility funds for outstanding young Russian students, graduate students, or post-docs up to the age of 35 years aiming interdisciplinary research projects in Germany, can be supported through a research stay of up to two months; sur-place stipends for outstandingly bright Russian students; mobility funds for German excellent students, graduate students, or post-docs up to the age of 35 years aiming for interdisciplinary research projects in Russia; mobility funds for outstanding researchers teaching of compact interdisciplinary classes; funds for interdisciplinary summer schools or research workshops.

Proposals between research institutions from St. Petersburg and Berlin devoted to the "Structure and Dynamics of Nanoscopic Matter" will receive specific attention. Proposals aiming to contribute to this Priority Research Topic should indicate this properly in the proposal.

PhD Fellowships of TOPOI – The Formation and Transformation of Space and Knowledge in Ancient Civilizations

The Excellence Cluster 264 “Topoi – The Formation and Transformation of Space and Knowledge in Ancient Civilizations“, funded by the Excellence Initiative of Freie Universität Berlin and the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, is announcing 9 PhD fellowships, beginning on 1st October 2015. Receiving a PhD fellowship also leads to the admission to the Berlin Graduate School of Ancient Studies (BerGSAS) of the Berliner Antike-Kolleg and the participation in one of the following structured three-year doctoral programs: “Ancient Languages and Texts”, “History of Ancient Science”, and “Landscape Archaeology and Architecture”.

PhD Grants at International Research Training Group "Between Spaces"

Deadline: April 30 2015, Berlin

The interdisciplinary International Research Training Group (IRTG) "Between Spaces", inaugurated in October 2009 is funded by the German Research Foundation (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, DFG) and hosted by the Institute for Latin American Studies at Freie Universität Berlin, Germany. The IRTG adopts a new perspective in the study of globalisation. It seeks to make an innovative contribution to a transnational and interdisciplinary field of study by means of a dialogue between the social sciences and the humanities that is further informed by the respective academic traditions in Mexico and Germany. The IRTG studies movements between different world regions and the new spaces that have emerged during both past and present periods of ever-increasing global interconnectivity.

The IRTG welcomes applications from the following disciplines: History, Political Sciences, Literature and Cultural Studies, Sociology, Social and Cultural Anthropology, Economics and Gender Studies.

M.A. Visual and Media Anthropology

The Institute of Social and Cultural Anthropology (Department of Political and Social Sciences) at Freie Universität Berlin is offering an innovative continuing education Master's (M.A.) program in Visual and Media Anthropology. 

The two-year, full-time master's program comprises 120 ECTS. It is an advanced graduate degree program educating both researchers and media professionals (you need to proof one year job experience in a professional field). The language of instruction is English. It is a web-based e-learning M.A. program with in-house workshops in blocks (2 weeks twice a year). The program is highly international. Our students are coming from countries all over the world.

PhD Positions at Berlin Mathematical School

Deadline: May 1 2015, Berlin

The Berlin Mathematical School (BMS) is a joint graduate school of the mathematics departments of the three major Berlin universities, TU Berlin, Freie Universität Berlin, and HU Berlin. We invite excellent mathematics students from Berlin, Germany, Europe and all over the world to join BMS - and to make good use of the ample opportunities offered by the rich and diverse mathematics teaching and research environment. Depending on the individual background, admission is to Phase I (typically with a bachelor) or directly to Phase II (for example, for students holding a master/diploma).

Students entering Phase I of the BMS are expected to have a bachelor degree, or equivalent. For entering Phase II, students are expected to have a master degree, or to pass the BMS Qualifying Exams.

PhD Stipends at the International Graduate Program for Muscle Sciences Berlin | Paris

Deadline: May 10 2015, Berlin, Paris

Muscle wasting and weakness are devastating problems in patients with muscular dystrophies, cancer, cachexia of any cause, critical illness myopathy, and are increasingly affecting older individuals. The scope of the problems extends far beyond a group of relatively uncommon muscle diseases thus leading to a growing demand of excellently trained experts in the field of muscle research. Students accepted by MyoGrad conduct a bi-nationally supervised doctoral thesis (co-tutelle de thèse) within one of the projects of the training group. They enrol in both Berlin and Paris Universities (with tuition paid once) and do research work both in Berlin and in Paris labs.

The call for applications 2015 is for 2 positions, both of them co-supervised from professors in Berlin and Paris: MyoGrad P7 "Structural elements of muscle" – topic „Nuclear response to mechanical stress: Role of emerin phosphorylation and implications for nuclear envelopathies“, and MyoGrad P8 "Muscle interactions with surrounding tissues", topic „Stem cell niche function and fibro-adipogenic degeneration of muscle interstitial cells“.

LL.M. Deutsches und Europäisches Wirtschaftsprivat- und Wirtschaftsverwaltungsrecht

Bewerbungsfrist: 31. Mai 2015, Moskau

Der LL.M. Studiengang „Deutsches und Europäisches Wirtschaftsprivat- und  Wirtschaftsverwaltungsrecht“ ist ein weiterbildender einjähriger Masterstudiengang, der von der Freien Universität Berlin in Kooperation mit dem Moskauer Staatlichen Institut für internationale Beziehungen (MGIMO), angeboten wird. Er findet fast vollständig in Moskau statt und wird ganz überwiegend in deutscher Sprache von Lehrkräften der Freien Universität erteilt.

Ziel des Studiengangs ist es, fundierte Kenntnisse über die deutsche Rechtsordnung mit dem Fokus auf wirtschaftsbezogene Regelungen zu vermitteln. Dargestellt werden die Grundlagen des Privatrechts und des öffentlichen Rechts unter Berücksichtigung internationaler, insbesondere europarechtlicher Bezüge. Gerichtet ist das LL.M. Pogramm an Juristinnen und Juristen aus der Wirtschaft und von Behörden, die ihre Kenntnisse auf dem Gebiet des deutschen und europäischen Wirtschaftsprivat- und Wirtschaftsverwaltungsrechts vertiefen möchten.

Double Degree Master Program Global Communication and International Journalism

Deadline: June 15 2015, Saint Petersburg, Berlin

Freie Universität Berlin and Saint Petersburg State University (SPbU) invite to apply for the new double degree master program Global Communication and International Journalism. The program is conducted by the Institute for Media and Communication Studies, Freie Universität, and the School of Journalism and Mass Communications, SPbU. This program is funded by the DAAD German Academic Exchange Service.

Core areas of research and teaching are: Communication studies and research methods, journalism studies and journalistic practice, political communication research, international media systems in comparative perspectives, globalization and media, international journalism culture, modern media management, internship and research practice. The double degree master program imparts knowledge for careers in international journalism as well as in media research both in universities and the private sector. Students will have the necessary competencies to work in editorial boards or management of organizations and various sectors of global mass media. They are prepared for positions in media consultancy, political education and intercultural communication. Independent professional work on an international level is one of the major goals of the program.

Международный летний и зимний университет FUBiS Term II & III 2015

Сроки: Term II до 2-го мая, Term III до 20-го июня 2015 г., Берлин

Открыт прием документов на участие в программе FUBiS, которая будет проводится в Term II с 30-го мая по 11-ое июля 2015 года и в Term III с 18-го июля по 15-ое августа 2015 года. При ранней регистрации на курс предоставляется скидка в размере 50 евро.

FUBiS - это интенсивная академическая программа Freie Universität Berlin продолжительностью от трех до шести недель, которая проводится один раз зимой и дважды летом. FUBiS предлагает курсы по различным предметам и темам, а также интенсивные и полуинтенсивные курсы немецкого языка на пяти уровнях. Большинство предметных курсов предлагаются на английском или испанском языках и читаются немецкими и иностранными преподавателями. По окончании программы иностранные студенты получают сертификат с указанием кредитных единиц (ECTS), которые могут быть признаны в родном вузе.

Вебинар по вопросам обучения в аспирантуре в Freie Universität Berlin

Дата: 13-го мая 2015 г. 18 - 19:30 ч. по московскому времени, онлайн

Freie Universität Berlin один из тех вузов, которые ставят фокус на обучение следующего поколения ученых. При этом приглашаются самые талантливые молодые ученые из всего мира - сегодня каждый четвертый аспирант в Freie Universität имеет иностранный паспорт. На портале университета можно получить основную информацию, как об индивидуальной аспирантуре, так и о структурированной форме обучения (Individualpromotion, Promotionsprogramme). Дополнительную возможность получить информацию предлагает онлайн-семинар (вебинар), посвященный аспиратуре в Freie Universität и получивший название fu:бинар.

Цель практического семинара - помочь заинтересованным студентам в том, где можно найти информацию и как надо понять то или иное требование к документам. fu:бинар будет проводится в интерактивной форме: Сначала будет показана презентация, которая разъясняет самые важные и общие моменты: Какие варианты обучения в аспирантуре предлагает Freie Universität Berlin? Какие требования существуют, чтобы быть зачисленым в качестве аспиранта? Что такое научный план (research project, research proposal)? В какие сроки надо подавать документы? Как можно потверждать знание немецкого или английского языков? Далее будет возможность задать вопросы по всем вопросам, связанным с аспирантурой и аспирантскими программами.

Участие в fu:бинар бесплатное, но требует предварительной регистрации онлайн. Участие возможно только после получения пароля, который будет выслан за 2-3 дня за 2 часа до начала мероприятия.

Семинар стипендиатов DAAD и других немецких фондов

Дата: 14-го и 15-го мая 2015 г., Москва

Германская служба академических обменов (DAAD) приглашает стипендиатов DAAD и других немецких фондов на семинар, приуроченный к XXXII Конференции германистов в Москве. В плане мероприятия - выступление представителей DAAD и немецких фирм, открытая дискуссия по вопросам учебы в Германии, стипендий DAAD и др.

Представитель Freie Universität Berlin в Москве, Тобиас Стюдеманн, примет участие в семинаре и представит не только образовательные и аспирантские программы Freie Universität, но поставит особый фокус на профессиональные перспективы после окончания соответствующего уровня.

Участвовать можно только после регистрации используя регистрационную форму. Количество мест ограничено.
