Financial Literacy Festival wraps up with activities for international students.

On April 21 from 18:30 to 20:30 in the International Resource Center the participants of the Friday English Speaking Club will learn how to distinguish fake money, how to use bank cards safely and how to make quick and convenient money transfers in and from Russia.

“Money Fest gives opportunity to students from other countries to communicate directly with the Bank of Russia experts,” explains Andrey Kuzmin, head of the Research Library Reading Rooms branch. “Students will get answers to their questions during the public talk and individual Q&A sessions, and practice during the game and master class.”

TSU Research Library hosts the Financial Literacy Festival within the framework of the Cooperation Agreement between the Bank of Russia and Tomsk State University. The Bank of Russia has held the events contributing to implementation of the Strategy of improving financial literacy in the Russian Federation since 2017. Such activity aims at developing citizens’ rational financial behavior and responsible attitude to personal finance.
